Mato Grosso records 32 dengue deaths in 2013

Since the beginning of the year until Thursday (5), the state of Mato Grosso recorded the death of 32 people due to dengue. Another five cases are analyzed. In the same period, there were 41,349 reported cases of AIDS, and 106 severe cases.

According to the Department of Health of Mato Grosso, in this period, 3,124 occurrences capital Cuiabá notified dengue, Rondonópolis 3082, Sinop 7686 and Lowland Grande 717. In 2012, in the same period, 35,429 cases were recorded.

In the same period, the state of Pará confirmed five deaths from dengue and 6,555 cases of the disease, a number that is down 60% compared to the same period in 2012. Records, 6,526 were classic dengue, 20 cases of dengue with complications, five and four hemorrhagic fever Dengue shock syndrome.

In Goiás, until August 31, there were 153 846 cases of dengue, an increase of 512.37% compared to 2012. The number of deaths also increased 69.69% over the last year. During the period, 24 people died from complications related to the disease.
