The two trucks and a mobile CT resonance already performed about 85,000 tests in more than 65,000 patients in 57 municipalities of Rio de Janeiro. The computerized tomography and magnetic resonance imaging make mobile affordable advanced diagnostic imaging to patients from the Unified Health System (SUS). Installed without a special trailer, manufactured and assembled by a U.S. company, the services are available 15 to 35 days in each region.

A pioneer in the country, the project of the state government ensures examinations on users who live in cities where there is no such assessment or in places where the service is not able to meet demand. The CT and MRI equipment can perform a procedure to 1 and 20 minutes, respectively. In private, these assessments cost between £ 250 and £ 500.
